Thank you, Helen;  I needed a giggle... Yes, a MASSIVE, 495 votes saved their skin...Not a mean Tory achievement.🤣🤣🤣

Apparently, it's International Family Day today.  I'll make some phone calls to remind certain darlings of the home address.  The garden and I need help! :D

We're having ours on Sunday!  For us, it's a movable feast. :D

And speaking of families, I recently saw, on Sky Arts (Freeview 11), "Stories from the National Portrait Gallery).   There, the curator commenting on Branwell Bronte's portrait of his sisters, kept giving "Bronchitis" as their cause of death (of Branwell and his two younger sisters).

True, it was decades ago when I was an undergraduate but neither then nor since, have I heard anything else than Tuberculosis given as the actual cause of death; and, in the case of the brother, probably hastened by the addition of drugs and alcohol.

Is TB taboo in… refined circles?
