    Thank you, Zoe.  Yes, despite the nuisance of the cold, I'm enjoying my day.  Sorry to hear you're one of the afflicted too.  I do hope it goes very soon.  Red nostrils aren't very becoming, are they?

    I have never seen anything that relates to the series of these programmes but this year, every time I turned on the radio, there was someone talking about Hancock.  There were those who, actually, found him "lovable".  

    I feel sick.

    I once saw a programme about the Crays and I was shocked to hear so many of those interviewed say that, if you knew them, you would realize they were really wonderful!

    The daughter of a friend of mine, when talking to her mother on the phoe yesterday, subtly mentioned some "lovely Christmas presents" she had recently seen. 

    Straight after putting the phone down, my friend sent her daughter the above message.  

    I cannot repeat her daughter's response!
