    For a while now, most of us in the family ask for donations rather than presents.  There's so much need out there, such as children with cleft palates, eye abnormalities, not having enough to eat, the list is endless.  I'm lucky enough not to need anything at present.

    I know.  We had a real cloudburst this afternoon and got soaked running from the bottom of the garden to the house!

    Just heard on the radio that on Sunday England fans will spend millions on food, drink etc.  

    I wonder how much some of them will spend on lazers....

    We seem to be in a football final every 55 years.  It's getting to be monotonous

    And, perhaps, many...cultured thugs amongst the crowd will spend a pretty penny on some of these to show the opponents, whilst the Italian National Anthem is playing, how...patriotic they are.

    Like the rest of England, I still can't get over the horror of the English football thugs. 

    I was hoping though that going away tomorrow for the rest of the week, would help OH and me concentrate on better things- wedding anniversary; but, most unfortunately, OH has been feeling quite unwell since lunch time, so WA will have to be celebrated at home tomorrow.

    And I was looking rather forward to it...
