Splendid specimens, Zoe!  Who wouldn't be cheered up by their beauty?

And talking about "cheering up", the "light" seems a shade brighter, so we might venture outside!

I love this rose of yours, Zoe.  Really beautiful.  The white ones are also very appealing though I think the nameless one is a bit out of focus  ;) ( But I'm still the most rubbish photographer under the sun!)

I did and, when emptying the old compost out of a large planter, I found a whole hen's egg buried in it!!!!

I can't think what animal would want to bury so carefully and perfectly a rather large egg.

  • Look what I found in my garden, obviously buried and then unearthed and eaten:

I should imagine foxes bury them, though I've never heard that foxes bury food.  I know squirrels do, but these eggs are far too large for them.

    Class act... c'leb style.

Dress style fit not only for visiting any country's mere head of state but, perhaps, the Vatican itself...

Dom, his erstwhile bosom friend, would probably respond, "You're both full of -hit."
