New Boy, your initial question wasn't silly. Everyone has to start somewhere in this world of gardening. I work in a Garden Centre and have been asked far sillier questions than yours. Please do not be afraid to ask advice, there is nothing wrong in not knowing, so many customers tend to apologise to me before they ask their questions, saying ' I'm not a gardener..........but how do I.......' I'm not a bricklayer so I'd need to ask how to build a wall. Everyone has their own field of expertise.
A gardener's work is never at an end - (John Evelyn 1620-1706)
mine looked splendid for some weeks, now all naked, but some have lovelly coloured stems, never a silly question, I have been gardening 60 (OMG have I that b****y long, and still ask questions on here. I got called stupid on Mart Lewis Money expert the other day, I asked if anyone else was with Extra Energy, because they had just gone bust, was told I should have checked the forum, but I had heard they were in trouble 2 weeks bfore, I actually got the e-mail from Martin Lewis, I did theck the forum and couldnt see anything. Apologies for nicking your post, re acers!
