I was thinking more like a hot toddy if it's cold and wet where he is.

  • Naaa ... he needs to find a nice cosy settle, good conversation and a pint of Adnams  ... he won't notice cold and wet then

Where did you find that?  The ceiling looks low enough to be a head banger, even before you've had too many bevvies.

This was one of mine Friday

After the winds of yesterday and last night it’s pretty much completely bare today!

  • New Boy, your initial question wasn't silly. Everyone has to start somewhere in this world of gardening. I work in a Garden Centre and have been asked far sillier questions than yours.
Please do not be afraid to ask advice, there is nothing wrong in not knowing, so many customers tend to apologise to me before they ask their questions, saying ' I'm not a gardener..........but how do I.......'
I'm not a bricklayer so I'd need to ask how to build a wall. Everyone has their own field of expertise.
