Sentry shed base

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help? I'd like to get a sentry shed (2' X 2' or similar).  
The area i'd put it is soil so I think I'll need a base?
I'd like to try and be as environmentally friendly as possibly with that and avoid concrete or plastic. I have some old housebricks lying around- would those on sand be sufficient?

    One problem of just those would be weeds growing under shed, could you not recycle plastic bags under the sand, then put batons onto the bricks to lift the shed off the ground keeping the base dry.

    I think it'll sink into the ground over time if you don't put something solid down  for it to stand on. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Would a 2'x2' paving flag work? Perfect size for a 2'x2' shed.
    If you want to be environmentally friendly, why not source one on Freecycle or the like. Re-use is better than it going to landfill.

    We’ve we’ve used a recycled paving slab for ours. Works fine.  :)

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
