Won't cut flowers "stretch" in a polytunnel?

It can be used to extend a season. Mum moves all her crysanths into the polytunnel in October, and they keep going until xmas.

I have fressias in small troughs.  Last year they started flowering in winter and promptly fell victims to the Beast.  Their foliage is coming thru again now so I'll be planting those out in the PT in the hopes of getting blooms and eprfume indoors this year.
