Lavender Platinum Blonde pruning advice & and when to clear up fallen leaves on lawn and bed

is it too late to prune this now it was planted few months ago from 5 litre pot. or does it need pruning if newly planted? also I have lots of leaves falling and covering my lawn and bed, should I clear this or leave them, if left does it damage grass, and for my bed does it act like a natural mulch which I still need to clear in spring. thanks

It's best to clear leaves from lawns and from any small delicate plants that might be swamped.  For lawns a quick way is to mow on a high setting so that most of the leaves get picked up.

I would not prune the Lavender now, but wait until Spring.

The worms will take them down through the winter and lots of other creepy crawlies can shelter under them.  They may blow into a corner, good for small mammals to nest in.
lots of leaves here at the moment, they just seem to disappear later on.  Next month I will be spreading mulch on the top of everything.
