Hello fellow gardeners, can anyone tell me the best way to overwinter cannas?  Should I put them in the greenhouse now (in full leaf because we haven’t yet had a hard frost) or wait for a frost to kill off all the top growth and then put them in? I will need to repot them in the spring because they’ve outgrown the pots they are in now. Thanks in advance.

    I have put mine in the greenhouse in full leaf. I cut the leaves off when they die down naturally. I keep them fairly dry over winter in their pots, then repot in Spring and feed them then.
