It’s una copa de vino, Jenny in Spanish, don’t know verra, but sure it will get you to the nectar anyhow Catalan is a nightmare, spent years getting semi-proficient in Castillian Spanish only to find I haven’t a clue here...still, if I ask nicely the locals will switch to Castillian, but no chance of catching the gossip in the local shop!

Ah yes, verre in French! I used to ask for a vaso de vino until I was given funny looks and eventually corrected - vaso is also a glass but never for wine, apparently. A cana (with the squiggle over the n, pronounced can-ya) is a tall glass of draught beer in the south. You can see I learnt my best Spanish in bars!
