in Tools and techniques
I am starting up as a gardener and need a reliable petrol lawnmower that isn't too heavy either.
Anyone got any ideas of a good one that isn't too expensive either?

    I have a Honda eazy-start. Not cheap though but relatively light and reliable.

    Honda: expensive, but you can buy second hand from a reliable dealer. 
    Cheap mowers are nothing but trouble in the long run.

    Honda was recommended to my by our local garden machinery specialists.  They actually recommended it over a more expensive make.  I've had no regrets about buying one.

    The best British made mowers are Hayter and Honda goes one better,The professional models are stronger for extra use, but whatever you buy keep on top of maintenance to prevent problems
