you might want to consider chili plants instead, continuous flowering and chilies can be quite attractive
Are chilli plants perennial then, or just perpetual? I brought our chilli pepper pot black in from the greenhouse a few weeks ago as it is unheated and definitely too cold now. It has lots of nice black chillies on it but apparently they should turn red at some point. I was surprised that it seems to keep on trying to flower, but your comment suggests that it does this
No longer newish but can't think of a new name so will remain forever newish.
Treated well, a chili plant can go on flowering and fruiting for ages but it isn't easy to keep them looking good and healthy in a cold UK winter and central heating. You need to make sure they have adequate water and feed them every couple of weeks with a liquid fertiliser.
