Tree identification?

Anyone know what this tree is? Hasn't produced any fruits, flowers or seedheads that are noticable.

    The leaves look the same, but there have been no catkins.

    It's a weed willow, sown by birds or wind.  No striking catkins and no other virtues either.  Pull or dig it up and plant something interesting.

    It’s probably a female so the catkins will have been greenish-grey and pretty inconspicuous. It’s only the males that have the attractive white fluffy pollen-laden catkins.
