Before I joined I often saw his photos as I did a search for Acers. He had a marvellous Japanese style garden, but his attention to detail was way beyond anything I could achieve.

Unfortunately, things did not work out for him on this forum and he left. I wish gardeners like doghouse were still around as he had a special understanding of Japanese Gardens.

He had a whole little family of foxes under his garden shed and he photographed them all the time. He didn't seem to mind if they messed up his garden. I miss his posts.

I am very pleased he left, he was a rude bully.

He has subsequently been banned from another forum, and there are many of us here who are very relieved he has gone.

  • Doghouse - yes that was the name - his acers were beautiful - he did work hard on the finer details of his gardening - we are all different and his garden was annoyingly neat but that was obviously his passion. There were various aspects of his gardening that I didn't approve of - however we have to tolerate the good and bad in everyone, I just filtered out those issues that I didn't agree with.
