Repotting magnolias

I have 3 magnolias growing in pots that need repotting but I've no idea when the best time is to do it. Should I do it now (the recent newsletter from this page said now was the right time to move trees and shrubs) or will that impact next year's flowering? Am I better off waiting until after they have flowered and repotting next year?

Thanks

I would be inclined to do it now, while it's still warmish. They can get their roots established into the new compost and will be ready to go in the Spring.
