Aster mönch

I've just had 9cm pots of aster mönch and I'm not ready to plant is it a good idea to pot up and keep in greenhouse? Or just get them in ground and hope for the best?

I can only speak for myself, but I have just put three small asters into a larger pot together. I will leave them in a cold frame until Spring when I will plant them out.
They are hardy and should cope with Winter cold, but I am in Scotland and don't trust the wet soil here until they are bigger and stronger. If you have a milder drier climate and they have a good root system then you could chance it.

I would pot on 9 cm pots this time of year and grow them on in a cold house or frame until spring. I would not put them out, but we are on clay here so though it is still warm, I feel they would not get enough growth and settling in time unlike earlier in the year.
