    Thanks, @CraighB
Yep, plastic pots and plastic bags, so fingers crossed! My cuttings are Raven, but I do have Garnet in the garden, too.

I've got raven , blackbird and garnet. Garnet is by far the hardiest . I lost lots of the "birds" during The Beast.

I was quite lucky over the winter term with my penstemons. They all survived however some of them were planted behind some delphiniums which shaded the penstemon too much and they grew very spindley and didn't do well at all!

I've never lost Penstemons in the winter... and yet I've lost quite a few other plants. Must say also the P. Garnet is a tough guy. Planted 3 specimens almost 20 years ago, moved them a few times, made cuttings, etc. Still looking beautiful.

Lovely garden Papi! How many Garnet plants are in that huge clump there?

Thanks! It's hard to say, originally 3 or 4, but now they have spread all over. :)

They look excellent as a large lump. Just looking at your website now. Stunning garden and love the interactive garden plan!
