Moving roses

Red mapleRed maple Posts: 1,138
Does anyone who watched Gardeners World last week remember the name of the white powder Monty sprinkled in his new rose bed and on the roots of the rose he dug up to replant? I should have made a note but didn’t. I’ve got a rose that I want to re-site so thought I would try and get some of the powder he used, to give it a good start in its new home when I move it.
Thank you.

Microrhizal fungae.  Avalable in may GCs and plant shops so just ask and then read labels as ones with a trade name are more expensive.
