Naked Clivia flowers

I have a Clivia plant that I've had for a number of years; it was an offset from an older plant. Last year it flowered for the first time but the strange thing is that it had no petals. This year it is flowering again but with two flower stems but still no petals. Also, comparing it to pictures of normal Clivia flowers, mine have an unusually high number of stamens.

I have to admit right here that It rarely gets fed as I am very poor at remembering, so perhaps this could be the reason, though normally I would expect lack of nutrients to result in no flowers at all.

Has anyone else ever come across this?

Any thoughts or opinions please.

Hope you might get some answers soon, I quite like how they look, quite pretty effect, though i am sure you would rather have a comment on the possible reason. You might try looking up fasciation if you have not already. Though i am not sure if that would be the answer, I think it has been discussed here before so you may find it in the forum somewhere.

I have come across fasciation many times before but always in relation to stems. I once (many years ago) planted a hibiscus in a 7cm pot who's stem was flattened by fasciation, just to see how it would turn out. The fasciation grew out and today the plant is over 6 feet high and flowers well as every year.

It looks different to Clivia cos it is not Clivia.
Nor is it fasciation!
What you have is a very happy Haemanthus_albiflos /Scadoxus albiflos

Now I'm seriously confused because I've always been so confident that the original bulb came off a friend's Clivia. Took it off myself - I'm sure I did, but then, with my memory?!
Anyway, I can't dispute the evidence of my eyes having seen the pictures. Thanks very much Silver surfer for your help.
