Laburnum tree trunk canker

can anyone help and give me some advise on how to treat my tree. I really don't want to cut it down and I was wondering if there is anything I could treat it with.

    LABURNUM CANKER - just wonder if this was resolved ? I assume cutting only solution ?

    After 22 years, our Laburnum had a 'catastrophic collapse' as my neighbour put it.  It also had a yellow canker close to the soil.  Very sad
