Plant or weed???

    I have news for you.  Weeds are plants.  Maybe unwanted or in the wrong place but plants nevertheless.

    I think that may be a form of mallow but you need @Nutcutlet or @Dovefromabove to be sure.

    I think Obelixx is right with mallow but again sorry cant tell you which or what one they crop up here in gardens and on the shingle beach have pretty pink flowers I tend to keep them if they not interfering then get rid once they flower.

    I'd agree with some kind of Lavatera. We need to see the flowers to make sure.

    Lavatera/mallow same difference.  Need a flower to be sure which kind tho.

    Ha ha yes I know weed is a plant. ! But you know what I mean!

    There’s no flowers so sorry can’t add a flower picture, it’s growing out of the middle of another bush so I assume it’s seeded itself there?

    i need to take a picture of the other bush as there’s lots of dead bits and it’s all straggly and overgrown I’ll need to know when to prune it but that’s another question!!

    So it is FranzPapen and some weeds can be garden flowers and vice versa. I think the point was more like:
