Begonias

I have just bought some lovely begonia plants and wondered if anyone could help me keep them alive through the winter. I have brought them inside and wondered if I need to water them? Do I need to do anything else? I'm clueless!

I can't help as I don't grow begonias, but can you say what kind? If you have a name or if you do not know what kind they are then a picture will help with answers.

Do you know which type of begonias they are?

If they're the tuberous ones I leave them until the foliage dies back and then lift the corms and store somewhere dry and frost free overwinter. You pot them up again in spring, indoors on a windowsill is fine until the temps are warm enough to plant outdoors.

The smaller semperflorens type are usually grown as annuals.

I would assume they are the houseplant  types, dont think anyone would be selling the outdoor type now.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
