sweetcorn

I don't know what to with sweetcorn I peeled way and tried to if milk came out or water nothing, all plant turned brown should just take all off now no matter what?

    Did you peel away some the layers of leaves to expose the kernels, which should been yellow in colour? If you then pressed a clean fingernail into one or two of the kernels, did you not see either a clear or milky liquid? If the kernels were still pale cream or as you say, all brown, then I'm afraid your sweetcorn is not okay. If the kernels were still cream, that might indicate that the cobs are not quite ready, so you could try leaving them for another week or two.

  • Yes I peeled they are cream but nothing came out clear or milky, ok I going to do as you said thank

    if nothing came out do you mean it was pasty material inside the kernels?
    if so then its past its best for eating on the cob, but you could dry it and try popcorn
  • They look very healthy yes nothing came out  it doesn't look dried today I look today to see what's happening thanks

    if nothing comes out i think they're past their best, even really young kernels give a clean liquid when crushed.
