Hi
Can anyone i.d. this plant please, i think its some form of cistus but not sure.

    The flowers and seeds look like Hibiscus trionum but I can't pick out the shape of the leaves

    well done, your spot on. I’ve looked at the leaves very closely and it’s the same.
    i took some seeds from the plant and hopefully have some little hibiscus plants.

    I'm sure that is a Cistus.  Will try to find sp.

    If it is a Cistus, it's likely that the leaves are slightly "sticky".

    Nope, Hibiscus as stated, good ID.
