When to bring succulents inside

Hello

I have a number of succulents that are tender and will need to come inside. I'm never sure when to to this though.

I live in South Dorset and the days are warm and sunny at the moment but the nights are going cooler.

What night temperature should trigger me to move them back inside?

We had 4° last night and it wilted the strawberry tops.

Anything below 4 degrees and they can struggle.  My aloe vera didn't like 5 degrees the other night either. And fleece over them is never enough. At this time of year I put them on some catering trays and spend weeks doing the 'Hokey Cokey' bringing them in and out every night and morning!  As soon as the weather feels chilly during the day then they come insude until spring

Haha. I've already done a bit of hokey pokey and been moving them into the garage at night, but soon it will be too cold in there. Met office says 9 degrees tonight, but I'm not convinced. I think I'll go scoop them up and pop them in the kitchen.

Totally agree. Just come in with my trays... never believe the weather!
