Wild mushrooms growing #unwanted

I have these wild mushrooms that have just sprouted up in the middle
of my lawn. How can I get rid of these without affecting the growth of the grass? Thanks

Just ignore them and they'll soon disappear again. Just don't step inside the ring or the faeries will take you!
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

If you’re planning to cut the grass brush the mushrooms away with a broom before mowing. Otherwise leave them ... they’re helping to feed your grass one morning very soon you’ll wake up and they’ll be gone.

The ones I had in the grass a few weeks ago had gone by last week. There's a few  more in other places, but they'll go of their own accord over the next month or two.
They're totally harmless, and vital to the ecology of the ground/soil    :)

    Wild edges - I promise I won't take anyone....honest guv.... o:)

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • The hot summer seems to have been really good for the fungi.  I've had loads of different sorts popping up all over the garden, far more than usual. Makes a walk round more interesting, you never know what you'll find :)
