They're pretty pinky Dove - and they work well with my alpina clem - Constance. The pot is now sitting near the back gate, close to her feet. I can see them from the kitchen window The buds looked quite white, but they soon showed a bit of pink. They look a bit paler in this pic than they actually do. It's seeded quite a bit, and there are lots of babies further along the border, where the pot was originally sitting. The coums are all 'leafed up' and look good too
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@B3. I once bought a load of those cheapo cyclamen from the B&Q dead trolly. Be rude not to at 10p a plant 😁. Bunged them in a couple of pots to brighten up an empty patch near the front door. They lasted about 3 years before they finally gave up and stopped reflowering.
As I said when we came here all we had was white ones, but lately we've got several patches of pink ones now, (someone nearby must've got some and the bees are doing the work) ... there's a patch of pink ones appeared under the Amelanchier ... there were none there before ... apparently ants spread the seeds around for us?
Where would we be without the bees and the ants
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
