Has the bush had normal looking lemons on it previously?
If not, could it be a Finger Lime bush?

A bit of a foodie speciality ... I've not tried one but would love to ... apparently the flavour 'bursts' on the tongue.

Thanks for comments, the bush has normal fruits as well, more normal than conical ones, last year was the same.
