How to protect strawberries during Autumn/Winter?

    Good to know - I thought it would be a bit strange if they completely stopped, make sense that it gradually drops off. I'm hoping for a better season next year anyway since this year has been a bit disappointing - I guess as the plants have bedded in. The weather hasn't been great in our area either.

    If the strawberries are healthy and not showing signs of virus, pot up some runners next year then the following year you can replace your old plants with new ones.
