    Lovely house and garden. I too would recommend planting now otherwise you'll be looking at bare soil all winter. Spring flowering bulbs and perennials can all be planted now, tulips best left for November as are shrubs and bare root roses if you'd like those.
    You don't have to plant it all up at once. Work out where you want to put either a rose or shrubs, leave enough space and just plant the other stuff where you like. Good luck.

    I would plant your shrubs and possibly a small tree, now, along with lots of bulbs. In the spring you can plant your perennials and annuals.
