  • Thanks Fairygirl and Nellie, both very interesting suggestions and I will bear in mind for elsewhere in the garden. Have learnt a lot from you all and now keen to get going. I have come somewhat late in life to gardening and wondering why I left it so long!

    Never too late Martyn  ;)
    Great that you're enjoying it.
If you can upload photos of any issues, or if you have queries about a certain area of your garden, it really helps with advice too  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • And if something’s worth saying it’s worth saying several times ... isn’t that right @Fairygirl ;). ((hugs))

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Thats OK Fairygirl, thought there was an echo in the room. Pooter? I’m curious

    Computer - pooter,  Martyn.  :D
It wasn't showing the post had gone through, and then it froze. Then I got a message saying some load of old b*llocks about informing the site etc. Then it was fine but I had a triple post  :)
