Euonymus are slow growers and can easily be trimmed to any size you like from what they are now to approximately 1x1m if they are not pruned at all for (say) 10 years.
A metre high and a metre across is usually their maximum full grown size.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Thank you both very much for the plant id's and growing information, it's kind of you to give up your time. Perhaps i'll plant them all in a cluster and see how it goes
I don’t plant Euonymus too close though. I like to have space around mine so the leaf colours stand out rather than merge with others. I then inter-plant with summer annuals and then winter flowers and bulbs to add contrasting colours.
My sister prefers planting them closer so they make one large display. Horses for courses !
