‘Wildflower’ Rudbeckia ID?

I recently returned from a spell away to find all the arable field edges, ditches and riverbanks of my local valley aglow with vast swathes of Rudbeckia - gorgeous, but doubtless a farmer’s menace! The sudden proliferation must have been because we had loads of rain this year, as opposed to last year’s drought. I assume they must have originally been garden escapees? Definitely some sort of Rudbeckia??

Here’s a few I picked for ID purposes, flowers about 10cm across:

    I don't think those are Rudbeckia, more likely to be Helianthus.

    Ah, that does make more sense, punkdoc, very Rudbeckia-like in size, habit etc., but was thinking (it not being the American prairies, last time I checked) that’s a lot of garden escapees  :D
