Tree ?

Hello everyone can you help. When we moved here we moved a small Tree from under a very very big Conifer at the top of our garden to a better sunny spot. It likes where it is and Springtime it is adorned with lots of plum coloured flowers. Today as we meandered from the top of our garden where our decking is looking out over the top of our valley here in Wales we spyed some berries on the tree , oh its about 3m tall by the way. Can you cast your eyes over the picture my OH and I think it's a Prunus .

    From the look of the calyx at the end of the fruit, I think it may be a crab apple (malus) rather than a prunus. 

    Glad it's happy where it is.   :)
