Prunus Amanogawa

BijdezeeBijdezee Posts: 1,484
Just a quick question, I think I know the answer but just to confirm. I have a Prunus Amanogawa planted last April. This is the columnar type of flowering cherry. It is doing well but I noticed that there are some small leaf growths at the base of the tree. Do I just rub these off? As the tree is supposed to be a column I dont imagine it its good to let them grow, would spoil the shape etc

Yes, you are correct. Just rub those growths off.

  • I walk past a similar one on my way to the village ... I'm itching to remove them  :/
