Can anyone tell me what this is please?   It's a donated cutting that I have grown on for a year.   Flowering now.  Not scented.

    No idea , but vaguely laburnum like foliage and pea like flowers.

    No, the leaves are finer and not ribbed but that one does look lovely.   Dark now so I shall try and take closer and better ones tomorrow.

  • My initial thought was that it looks a bit like Cytisus battandieri .... but that is beautifully perfumed ... in warm sunshine ...

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I thought maybe coronilla but the leaves aren't right. Or thermopsis, but the stems look too woody.

    No, and the flowers have faded so I can't get one in focus.   Next year then.
