    That looks like Vinca Major, Periwinkle.

    Vinca . Total pita. Cut off stems and then dig out roots.
    They're not that deep but if you cut off the foliage, you can see what you're doing.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Sometimes recommended as ground cover for dry shade. The stems root wherever they touch the soil so it spreads like fury. I have the variegated form, which is prettier but does try my patience sometimes.
