Overwinter biennials/hardy annuals?

We're hoping to move house over the winter but I'm still keen to grow some biennials and hardy annuals for a cut flower patch next year - just wondered do you think I can overwinter these in pots in a cold frame and plant them in early spring? I wasn't sure if they would be happy out of the ground for that long..failing that do you think they would transplant if I move? Bit of a newbie at growing so apologies if these seem like silly questions!

  • I think they'll be fine in pots in a cold frame ... it's exactly what I would do  :)
