Some kind of Corn growing in patio ? Please help identify...thanks

  Is your bird feeder nearby? I had some weird and wonderful grasses appear under mine this year, next door has a "Millet" lawn,where he throws his aviary bird seed out!

  They could be Broom Corn, Sorghum Bicolor.

  wow that is a pretty plant, I wonder if it is always that height or just in a bad spot as it is. would look great in a border.
