Found this growing in a border. Can anyone tell me what it is?

    Do the leaves smell when you rub them?
    It looks like cannabis or some kind of hemp to me

    No, no smell.

    then it'll be hemp, the type of cannabis used for making string/rope that sort of thing, best bet is remove it and compost it before one of your neighbours calls the cops

    Do you or your neighbours put out bird seed?  If so that's probably where it came from.

    Well keep it then. It's perfectly legal :) but don't let it seed.

    I would keep it,so long as you don't have all the other bits and pieces used for farming cannabis your ok even if the cops visit you o:)
