I have bought some seeds to grow aubretia on walls, any tips, can I sew seeds direct?

I didnt, I sowed in spring and treated as any other seeds, get them to big plants before planting out,  but then that’s just me, I never sow anything direct.

How much seed do you have?  Maybe try some in pots/trays/plugs and the rest directly in the cracks in the wall.  My Dad has some on his wall that self-seeds into the cracks and comes up here in different spots every year.  It might be hard to get big pot-grown plants into the walls, depending on the size of the cracks.

I'd get some to flowering stage in pots and stand the pots on top of the wall when they seed

    Nature's way again, nut.  :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
