  • Thanks Bob.  That's what I was thinking.  Tried to grow V. Olympicum once but it just sulked in my hard, wet clay.
  • I have them come up in random places every year.   The rosettes of soft furry grey-green leaves look great over winter but I remove most of them before the flower spike goes up.  Once they seed, you have them forever but the seedlings never seem to germinate in masses and 'take over', are easily pulled up if they are in the wrong place, so I would say go for it! :)
