Impatiens niamniamensis (parrot plant) sticky!

I was wondering if someone could help me solve a parrot plant issue -
For a few weeks it has been very sticky, making the surface and ornaments around it sticky too. There are white specks on the leaves. It is still growing and flowering though. Any ideas?
