What’s up with my apples and plant ID

can anyone tell me what this is popping up in an overgrown bed?I did wonder if it is a canna or a zantedeshia(may be spelt wrong)
also some of the apples on my tree look like this..does anyone know what is wrong with them.I am due to prune the tree in a few months as I inherited it and it’s very overgrown.
Thanks.😃

I think it's a Banana plant, maybe Musa Basjoo, growing through.

Looks like you have possible Brown Rot, a common problem for fruit trees growing in congested and damp locations. You may need to check the branches for pruning back and sometimes, the local weather conditions make them more susceptible to this. You will need to remove all of the fruits from the tree and never let them stay around the ground either. Collect all leaves that have fallen over the winter and hopefully, you will minimise re-infection.
  • Thanks for that. The tree is very overgrown and we’ve had a very hot summer. Will prune when it’s time get rid of leaves and fruit and hopefully better next year.
