Plant IDs

sabeehasabeeha Posts: 344
Good morning,

Please could you help me identify the following:

1) Are these weeds? They have small pink flowers...

2) I have this growing randomly around my garden... At first it looked similar to the honeysuckle I have, but it has a different leaf 'pattern'.  Also, some of the honey suckle I have is in flower, this particular plant has no flowers yet.. although it is in a shady area?

Thank you.

1 is geranium, maybe wargrave pink.
2 is indeed a honeysuckle of sorts.

Thank you Hostafan1 - Can I do anything to the geraniums at the moment? Like cut them back a little?

No1 is a hardy geranium of some sort.
No2, yes a honeysuckle. Probably a different variety to your other one, so has different leaves.

Cut the geranium hard to the ground and give them a bit of a feed and you'll get  a nice flush of young foliage. Maybe a bit late, but you might even get a flower or two.

Nutcutlet & Hostofan1 thanks, will do so now.  They are looking very sad!
