Woodland border, plants to keep it going in summer?
I have a sort of woodland edge border, under the dappled shade of large evergreen oaks lining my drive, with hellebores, muscari, aquilegias etc. So far it’s a purple and white theme. It looks lovely in spring but a bedraggled empty mess in summer. Are there any summer flowering plants I could slot in that would suit a semi-shade woodlandy area? Any suggestions gratefully received!

My Clem.heracleifolia is a full glorious blue at the moment ; all these grow well in moist soil and dappled shade .
Without knowing how long this border you have is though, I'm not sure what else to suggest.
I have some very fleshy, foot high or so sedums that flower in almost total shade at the moment.
Fuchsia?
Just to add - beware Rozanne. This is one plant. Insane thing
