Red leaves

I have bright red leaves on my rhubard plants,I have read that this is a disease and the plant must be dug up.there have only been 3 leaves like this the rest of the plant looks healthy. can anyone out some light on this? Regards rich.

    Don’t take too much notice of what you read on the internet, they all want to try and frighten you.

    I know, but the only place to ask for info is here surely, 😀 most of those sites are written by people that probably don’t even have a garden! if you google a headache they’ll tell you to get to the hospital straight away as it could be something sinister like your foot’s about to drop off. 😱😕
