Impatiens/busy lizzies

I've just been given some beautiful Impatiens. I'm not sure what variety they are but online it says for most of them they are perennial but grown as an annual. I would like to keep them going if possible as a perennial. What do I do? Just bring them in like I would with a pelargonium? Or is there some specific requirements that make it not worth the hassle?

    My mum always used to keep her Busy lizzies going from year to year as house plants. They do tend to get rather drawn and leggy because of the lower light levels, but that is easily remedied in the spring by cutting them back and using the shoots for cuttings. They root easily in water.

    Thankyou Buttercupdays :) That's good news, especially that I can propagate them easily to make more. There's not going to be enough room in the house for us with all the plants that need to come back in, haha.

    whenever I’ve brought Busy Lizzie indoors they’ve attracted red spider mite and eventually died.
