Now before ore anyone tries to be smart, I know this is a fuschia, but I need to know what type.
my neighbour has a lovely large bush of it in his front garden but can’t remember what type it is. I would like to add one to my border, but any hardy fuschias I have tried act like herbatious perennials, in that it grows from ground level each year, and doesn’t get that big. This one is quite large and seems to grow on each year without dying back! Any suggestions as to what type it is?
Thanks!

Looks like one of the magellanica types. They are the hardiest of the Fuchsias. If the leaves are yellow as they appear to be then it could be F. Genii
