Fungi

Has anyone any idea how to get rid of newly acquired fungi in the for of large mushrooms that have appeared over the last week on the back lawn while we were on holiday ? Thanks

  • They’ll disappear on their own very soon. If they’re still there when you need to mow just knock them over and sweep onto borders with a broom or rake of gather and add to compost bin.

They’re simply the evidence of the underground mycelium that is breaking down organic matter in the soil and making it available to the roots of your plants, so they’re a good thing.
